Am sharing, here, my response to a set of statements by one who typed her comment on a Telegram discussion group. Here’s my response to her: –> Just like a renewed moon shows up on schedule each “new” month,
the renewed covenant you are calling the “new” covenant
is one in which our Redeemer Savior, Whom you call Jesus, is actually a way for our heavenly Father to be The BrideGroom to His Remnant, after He stated, thru His truthful prophets, that He had to divorce the children of Israel because of their overt, willful idolatry / adultery of “joining themselves” to pagan idols, sacrificing even their own children to foreign idol images, and practicing immorality, plus more evil.
When Yeshua / Jesus died in our place to pay the penalty of an adulterous wife — disloyal Israel and its prophets that spoke contrary to The Almighty — His Suffering, Death & Resurrection
showed everyone that our Father gave of Himself, willingly, to redeem us / ransom us from “the law of sin and death,” as Paul states in at least one of his letters to the assemblies of followers of our Savior.
But, in Matt. 5, v 17-21, especially v 17 & 18, Yeshua / Jesus states that “Till heaven and earth pass, not one jot or tittle (Hebrew vowel markings, to help in pronunciation) shall in no wise pass from YHVH ‘s (Yahweh’s) Instructions (law is incorrect, there; the Torah, 5 books Moses wrote down, actually means Instruction{s}, or some say, Teaching{s}), until all (of what it instructs us to do, and what it foretells) comes into being. ( Greek # 1096, at end of v 18 is not the same Gr. word as # 4137. Some state that plerōo, # 4137, means to more fully explain. Jesus / Yeshua more fully clarified what Yahweh used Moses and the Psalms, and the Hebrew Prophets, to write down, … by how Yeshua / Jesus lived His Life on earth. )
Am just hoping to help with an explanation that reveals that our Creator’s Son would be calling YHVH God a liar IF The Son came to undo what The Creator had established. Grace was applied to Adam n Eve, after they sinned. Genesis 6 states that Noah found Grace in The Eyes of YHVH.
I could define more n explain more, if it would help anyone here. ( here, on this blog, or in the TG discussion group, if you want a link to join that )
Am a teacher, so I tend to sound like one.
Hope you all understand that we teachers will be judged more severely IF we mess up. YHVH is my Judge.
Shalom, in Yeshua’s Mighty Name Ephesians 6, v 10-18 I John 2, v 3-6
