Thoughts on Matthew 5: 17-18

Am sharing, here, my response to a set of statements by one who typed her comment on a Telegram discussion group. Here’s my response to her: –> Just like a renewed moon shows up on schedule each “new” month,
the renewed covenant you are calling the “new” covenant
is one in which our Redeemer Savior, Whom you call Jesus, is actually a way for our heavenly Father to be The BrideGroom to His Remnant, after He stated, thru His truthful prophets, that He had to divorce the children of Israel because of their overt, willful idolatry / adultery of “joining themselves” to pagan idols, sacrificing even their own children to foreign idol images, and practicing immorality, plus more evil.

When Yeshua / Jesus died in our place to pay the penalty of an adulterous wife — disloyal Israel and its prophets that spoke contrary to The Almighty — His Suffering, Death & Resurrection
showed everyone that our Father gave of Himself, willingly, to redeem us / ransom us from “the law of sin and death,” as Paul states in at least one of his letters to the assemblies of followers of our Savior.

But, in Matt. 5, v 17-21, especially v 17 & 18, Yeshua / Jesus states that “Till heaven and earth pass, not one jot or tittle (Hebrew vowel markings, to help in pronunciation) shall in no wise pass from YHVH ‘s (Yahweh’s) Instructions (law is incorrect, there; the Torah, 5 books Moses wrote down, actually means Instruction{s}, or some say, Teaching{s}), until all (of what it instructs us to do, and what it foretells) comes into being. ( Greek # 1096, at end of v 18 is not the same Gr. word as # 4137.  Some state that plerōo, # 4137, means to more fully explain.  Jesus / Yeshua more fully clarified what Yahweh used Moses and the Psalms, and the Hebrew Prophets, to write down, … by how Yeshua / Jesus lived His Life on earth. )

Am just hoping to help with an explanation that reveals that our Creator’s Son would be calling YHVH God a liar IF The Son came to undo what The Creator had established.  Grace was applied to Adam n Eve, after they sinned.  Genesis 6 states that Noah found Grace in The Eyes of YHVH.

I could define more n explain more, if it would help anyone here. ( here, on this blog, or in the TG discussion group, if you want a link to join that )
Am a teacher, so I tend to sound like one.
Hope you all understand that we teachers will be judged more severely IF we mess up. YHVH is my Judge.

Shalom, in Yeshua’s Mighty Name Ephesians 6, v 10-18 I John 2, v 3-6

Battle-Ready ?

Am I battle ready? Have I spent enough days and nights humbly seeking The Face of YHVH, my Father Creator?

In my Understanding of His Instructions He inspired men to write down, for future generations, — we are some of the ones in those future generations — I believe Yah wanted you and me to see that our actions Do Bring Consequences. He stated what would come to me IF I followed His Instructions. And, He stated what would happen IF I chose, willfully, to act against His Way and Will.

Where are you at, right now? I know I still see there are issues and stuff, I call it, He is working on, in my soul, mind and heart, to bring me into more alignment with His complete Will. I belong to YHVH, through my strong Belief and Trust in Yeshua. Yet, I mess up each day, though not choosing willfully to do so.

My patient husband has observed that I continue to struggle in some areas of what I call my character, due to past, deep hurts, as some call them. People whose responsibility was to Keep their word … yet, they did not. Some proved, by their anti-Love attitudes, harmful, damaging statements & willful, selfish or immoral actions, & thought-lives, that they were fakes, hypocrites.

An ex … became worse n worse. Fell into the deep pit of depression, immorality, a thought-life addiction, plus actions, of spiritual idolatry. A serious error, deception and transgression against our Creator. Yet, never admitted, took responsibility for, the sin to the point of full repentance. Only was shameful, felt guilty and expressed that he did not think he would ever get free of the addiction. That was a huge deal breaker!

My covenant husband of 7 years, now, has been so-o patient and was put through even worse treatment by his ex …! He understands. Just from a different angle. He counsels others. He’s counseling me. He knows the pain. YHVH goes through it *with* us! YHVH leads us through the valley of the shadow of death. We can fear no evil, though, because The Master of His own universe, YHVH Tzeva’ot, holds us, who trust, in The Palms of His Hands!

Am I battle ready? Hope so! I’m aware that not every soldier, in wartime, knows absolutely everything to do in every situation he may face. Yet, He trains to know how to wisely respond to what he may face, as much as he, and his trainers, anticipate *may* happen. Having a dad who did have common sense plus wisdom, yet being an imperfect man who trusted YHVH, in Yeshua, … and who commanded / trained younger men to do a wartime duty …, I know he did his best. I plan and hope to Do My Best!

In my case, my Commander cannot lose, nor mess up. He commands The Armies of the heavens! YHVH knows everyone’s soul and that includes the ones who oppose Him. I’m so grateful Yah chose, freely, to show me His abundant Mercy and limitless Love that, also, endures for ever!

Shalom, in Yeshua’s Name (( smile ))
